An Absolutely Amazing Day  [07.12.2005]
I finished my quest last night, so I finally got a chance to play some games other than $200+15�s today. Today was just insane.

I spent most of the day 8 tabling SNGs, but of all limits. Here�s what I�ll be doing for a while: The first thing I do is log into Pokerstars and sign up for the $500+30, the $525+30 and the $1000+50 sngs. They don�t run as often as any of the games on Party, but they tend to run a lot faster when I register with them at 0 people (rather than waiting for other people to signup first.) I then get in just about every $1000+65 and $400+30 on Party. Then I�ll play enough $200+15�s so that I�m playing 8 tables at all times.

I started off very well. I was winning SNGs left and right across all limits. I was up $15,000 fairly early in the day. Then I saw one of Parties Step 5 Higher SNGs with 8 people in it. I saw a couple of players that I knew were weak, and several names that I didn�t recognize. Since the lineup was so soft, and I was already up so much money, I decided to play. I was very upset when I got AQo all-in vs K6o and lost. Every day I take many beats far worse than that, but when you buy in directly for $5300, it hurts a lot more than a typical beat in a $200+15 sng.

Right after that, another $5300 was almost full with a very similar lineup, so I decided to jump in again. Before the first orbit was over, I got QQ all-in vs KK. I was in a spot where I would normally fold QQ before the flop, but couldn�t manage to against the player I was up against. My read on him was that he was a very poor player that was fairly unpredictable. This meant his all-in could be a wide range of hands, so I called. Anyway, luck was definitely on my side as a queen hit the flop.

The rest of the SNG was rather uneventful, except for the fact that I won. I can�t tell you how good it felt to see this on my screen: �Dealer: Congratulations, ZeeJustin! You won $25000.� After I won that, I continued to destroy all the other sngs I was in, and I finished the day up $37,000. My best single day win was for $18,000 and I more than DOUBLED that today. I never thought I would double that win without a single MTT involved. Actually, I did play 4 MTT�s today, but I busted out of all of them early (2 on bad beats and 2 on coinflips).

Here are some stats for today:
I played 17 $1000+65 sngs on Party. I won 4 of them and got 2nd in 3. My net profit in those was $9195.
I played 11 $400+30�s and won 3 of those. I made $3570 in those.
I played 37 $200+15�s and made $3230 across those. 7 of my first 17 were 1st place finishes. I actually lost money over the last 20, but still finished up over 3k in them.
Only one $1000+50 ran on stars today, and I got 1st in that.
In the $500�s on stars, I played 11 and made $3,700.
All of this plus my net profit of $14,400 from the 2 step 5 higher�s I played makes for a very sick day.

Now it�s time to relax. It�s too late to go out and celebrate, so I�m gonna make the best food I can find in the apartment, and relax while watching some Nick-at-Night.
